GameShow

Knowledgehook's GameShow activity turns learning into fun, transforming classrooms into interactive TV-style game shows.

Transform classrooms

Turn regular lessons into interactive fun-filled classroom sessions.

GameShows allow teachers to assign any of our curriculum-aligned content and transform it into a lively interactive game. Be the star of the show by projecting the questions on your screen to the whole class, while students get to answer on their own devices. Controlling the pace of the questions that students get to solve in class. This setup ensures maximum engagement and fun, but let's not forget the learning!

Student Reports

Dive deep into student progress with each GameShow activity.

With every GameShow you run, get key insights on student performance from the reports tab. The reports dashboard is great to review all the GameShows you have run for the class. You can view the average scores and the performance for each GameShow you’ve run. Measure growth by running a cloned Game Show activity from the Reports page.

Competitive or Collaborative

Motivate students with different GameShow formats.

Game Shows are designed to be played either competitively or collaboratively. Competitive GameShows are designed for classrooms where students thrive on a healthy competitive spirit - Celebrate the top scoring students on the class-wide leaderboard. Collaborative Game Shows encourage the class's combined success - set up a Celebration Threshold that the class needs to meet!

Advanced GameShow Settings

Personalized experience for your class.

Allow new users or guests to be added with Open Registration enabled. You can also allow guests to join without an account, so it's super easy to onboard students and get started. Make GameShows insightful by enabling benchmarks from standardized tests, when available. Award a few extra points as a tie-breaker in the competitive leaderboard when answering questions. Play around with the celebration threshold to your liking to personalize the collaborative GameShow experience.

Game Show Lobby

Excite and onboard students for the GameShow session.

The GameShow lobby experience allows everyone from your class to get onboard before you run the GameShow activity. Project your screen while waiting for students to join. Students who joined get to view each other’s avatars while you wait for the rest of the class to join. Get useful information on which of your students have joined, and which students need help in getting onboard. Hit play when the waiting room is full!
